Greasy cutworm (<i>Agrotis ipsilon</i>) and its biorational management strategies: A review

Agrotis ipsilon (Lepidoptera:Noctuidae) known as greasy cutworm is an important destructive polyphagous pest of many crops distributed throughout the world. Larvae are with a wide and diverse host range, result which they cause extensive damage to range agricultural horticultural crops, mainly at seedling stage. Insecticide resistance has grown widespread arbitrary use pesticides, pesticide residues have accumulated in food. There growing need for new management strategies limit threat humans, environment, non-target organisms these pests. This review encompasses biorational compounds this pest. It could offer broad perspective direct search novel pesticidal tactics against A. that focused on environmental sustainability.
